Cancellations Policy
A therapy hour is a reserved and a mutually contracted appointment slot between the therapist and the client. Sudden cancellations slots that cannot be made use of by other clients, will incur a charge to cover the therapists time and administrative costs, which is the standard practice of all private practitioners.
Notice Period: Should you, the client, decide to cancel an appointment, I will require 24 hours notice. Cancellations fees will be charged at a rate of 85% of the agreed upon fee which will be waivered if the appointment is able to be rescheduled within the same week.
Exceptions: I will consider wavering the cancellation fee under the following circumstances: sudden illness, family/work emergencies and bereavement.
Your specific cancellation terms will be listed within the informed consent section of the client contract you will sign at the point of undertaking therapeutic support within your first session.
Please check the agreed upon terms within your specific therapy contract document to avoid incurring late cancellation charges wherever possible.
