What to expect
Your first session
During your initial assessment, I will invite you to share your history of the problems you are experiencing the impact it is having upon your life and what you consider your needs are along with what you would like to gain from your time in therapy.
This will enable your future sessions to be formulated specifically to match your specific needs, hopes, and wishes. Should you wish to proceed we will then draw up a therapeutic agreement of how we will work together.
Your ongoing therapy support
Most therapy takes place in planned regular sessions which last around 50 minutes. How many sessions we have together will depend on your personal circumstances.
What you talk about will vary depending upon what you feel you would like or need help and support with, such as:
● Your feelings, thoughts, and emotions
● Situations you find difficult to manage
● Past/present life events
